A day out with my mom

Over the weekend, my mom decided to pay a visit to the famous Mustafa Centre. It’s the only 24 hour shopping mall in Singapore where people enjoy discounts from the bulk orders that Mustafa made.

Deepavali is just round the corner, and we never thought that it would be crowded going to Mustafa on a Saturday afternoon. Thank goodness we weren’t there in the evening, because that was the day that they switched on the festive lights.

Mustafa is the same as before; lots of things to shop, lots of people around, takes a long time to queue and pay… but what interested us was the carnival that they held near Mustafa. There were easily 40 stalls selling all sort of things that are necessary for the Deepavali celebration… jewellery, new clothes, cakes and snacks, lights, home decoration pieces… it’s cool!
