To spend, or not to spend
Some of you will probably know… I had never own a branded handbag, and it has been my tidal wish, to own one someday. Why tidal? Because the urge of having a branded hangbag come and go… like the waves. When it’s here, it hits me real hard, and I’ll be found looking at the websites and wanting to give away my credit numbers. When it’s not here, everything is peaceful, and I am happy with my variety of unbranded bags.
Recently, I had that urge again, especially since the USD is weak at the moment. I have been looking at Saks.com, Coach, LV, Ferragamo, Gucci… the list never ends. You know why I still didn’t buy anything so far? Thank goodness I have not seen something that I’m going ga-ga for. Or else, I am sure my credit card debt will just go ka-boom!
The last bag I really like was the Tod’s classic design bag, but in champagne gold colour. I believe that was last year’s christmas collection. Oh well…
Sometimes as I think about it, $1,000 for a bag is not all that expensive, if the bag is put to good use, and it is lasting blah blah blah… on the other hand, the same $1,000 could be really helpful to any charity organisations. Even if I don’t donate it away, $1,000 can be my food money for the next 2 to 3 months!
Does everyone agonise over purchases, just like me? Or am I the freakish one?
